Maverick Murphy is a country music singer, songwriter and guitar player born and raised in Southeast Texas. Although he is a young man, he is not new to country music or the stage. His father, Patrick Murphy, had several national singles, numerous albums, and a video on CMT/GAC from the 1990’s throughout the 2000’s. Even as a toddler Maverick would join Dad on stage and has sat on stage while the great George Jones sang to him. As he matured, Maverick cut his teeth singing for his church, Church of The King in Katy, TX and has now made a name for himself in local country music venues in the Greater Houston market. He plans to continue his education at Texas A&M while pursuing the dream of country music. 2024 is shaping up to be a very exciting year for Maverick. In the coming months, he will be in the studio to record some original music in addition to expanding his live performance dates.
